Our page impression fluctuates caused by seasonal, new article, bad content, weekend traffic and popularity of topic.
For the beginner blog, we suffer the fluctuate visitor. My blog visitor usually decreases at the weekend. I think most people go to holiday and do not use internet to find any articles. The fluctuate page impressions is not good for our blog. It means our revenue fluctuates.
Here are some reasons why our visitor or page impression is fluctuating.
Popularity of topic
I have finance and pet blog. Finance subject is better than pet subject but I my pet blogs get more impression more than my finance blog. However, the finance gives me more money than the pet. I can get 1.5 dollars each click in finance blog; on the other hand, I just get half dollars from my pet blog.
Seasonal topic
The trend is always changing. For example, People will find book when the child will enter the school. People buy the scarf when the winters come. If you have a blog about a scarf, the surfer will not search your blog in the summer. Perhaps they will find you when the winter almost comes.
New article
When you submit the content, your blog visitor may increase. It is because your subscribers go to your blog after receiving the feed from RSS or Atom feed. If you often post new content you are probably get more visitors. It is important to provided newsletter, RSS, and twitter for your blog.
If you your blog has few subscribers, you will not get so much visitors. What you can do is to promote your blog with social media or social network.
Bad content
It is difficult to justify a bad content. However, you should try to improve the content. If the visitor complains about the content, you can improve the content immediately. Try to make a good content that people can understand it easily. Do not make a content that makes your reader confused.
Weekend traffic
The page impression decreases at the end of weekend. Reversely, a blog of mine with local language can get more visitors. People tend to not open the computer at the weekend. They prefer to spend the time outside.
